2006 10 Thailand & Cambodia – Remainder of trip to Nov 11th

The boat seen is like the one we are on.

We are getting off at the James Bond Island for a visit.

Unusual rock formation catches your eye.

As usual, there are many gift shops in the area.

Leaving the island

Part of this tour includes a kayak trip around and in a few of the small islands.

We leave our kayaks and go for a walk to the center of this island.

On another island

A cave leads us to the center of the island, It's only a short walk.

It's low tide at present which allows us to enter the cave without it being filled with water.

Look up at the center of the island.

You can see where the ocean level will be once the tide come in.

We're back on the boat heading back to the mainland.

You can see the base of the island is being eroded by the constant tides in the ocean.
