It was another breakfast at the hotel before leaving for the airport. My taxi left at 8:45 and I find out I would have plenty of time on my hands before my flight. I had already checked in yesterday on the internet, so things went quick at the counter. I then had some lunch at a restaurant in the airport that once again gave me a taste of Thailand. I ordered the sea food salad that turned out to be more than just a little spicy. Before any food can be ordered you first had to purchase a card up front with enough credit to purchase what you want. It is a fairly large restaurant with different areas to order different foods and drinks. You place your order and then they swipe your card taking the price off from the total on your card. When you are done with the meal you return the card and receive a refund for any remaining credit. A unique idea, at least it's the first time that I have encountered it.
My flight was a little late getting under but everything went well. I order a taxi right from the luggage claim area and then meet him just outside the doors. It was about a 20 minute ride to my hotel.
