For some reason I am unable to sleep for too long, by 6:00 a.m. I am up and about. It doesn’t take long for me to find the pollution in the air to be very unpleasant. My eyes are burning in no time and I knew to stay in Bangkok for long would not be a good idea. I find the web site of the Haven Hotel in Pattaya and take down the phone number. An Internet café was just next door and was convenient for me to use. I book it for 5 nights and arrange for a taxi to pick me up at noon tomorrow.
My hotel is in a good location and there are many places to go shopping near by. A walk way is built just above the street and it was easy access to a number of places without fighting the traffic. To name a few, Central World Shopping Center and the Paradigm Mall were within a few blocks and were completely Air Conditioned and seemed to be clear of some of the pollution that is every where.
A little window shopping today but I retire early and take a nap around 4:00 p.m. and wake up around 2:00 a.m., a big mistake. I could not sleep after that.
